Reason #2,369 Not To Use Microsoft Outlook
Just figured out today that for security reasons Microsoft Outlook blocks all incoming file attachments that are executable. This means that if I work on a program in the lab and send the compiled version to myself so that I can have it on my home machine, I will not be able to get it. Furthermore, Outlook will not allow me to change this behavior, even though I’m competent enough to know what I’m doing. Grrrr…
